After failing to get a response from a couple of other electricians, Mel Carr Electric responded to my call and sent Jason in the afternoon on the same day I called. Jason quickly replaced a bad circuit breaker that controlled my household lights but also pointed out corrosion spots on other circuit breakers. I decided to upgrade the circuit breaker box and power line. Jason come back the following morning and replaced the circuit breaker box, outdoor supply power cable, sealed all possible leakage paths to the circuit breaker cabinet and restored all circuits to an operating status. This wrk was completed within 7 hours. The work was done in a professional and neat manner. Definitely would call Mel Carr in the future.

Pretty rapid response to request for service - about three days. Dan A. was very professional - called when he was on his way, arrived within the time limits set with Rob, used covers for his shoes to prevent marking our floor, did not smoke, explained what he did as he worked. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was that I felt the price for the work was high, considering I already had all the parts available (except for wire nuts). Would I use Mel Carr again? Possibly, depending on response time and cost comparison with other providers.

Excellent every time. We have been Mel Carr customers for years. Our 43 year old house has had some quirky electrical issues over the years and this firm and their staff is always fast accurate and courteous.
