I had my first experience with Mel Carr Electric today although even the staff setting up the appointment was knowledgeable and got me an appt in one day.
The technician arrived and determined the problem and had a few solutions for me to choose from He then installed new light fixture and helped fix a few hot wires in the process.
Courteous and friendly and very helpful. Their flat rate was affordable. I will keep them in mind for further work.

I recently had a problem with a series of electrical outlets that were not working. I called Mel Carr Electric and I had an electrical technician at my home in less than 24 hours. When Jason C. arrived he immediately put protective booties over his work shoes to protect my floors from being stained or damaged. I explained the problem and he immediately started trouble shoot the problem. In a very short time he located the problem in an outlet that had loose wires and was causing other outlets to have operational problems. He replaced the defective outlet and my problem was fixed. All this took about a half hour. Jason C. was very polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company if you have electrical problems.
