Please do not go here! Very rude! Did a very poor job in a bride's maid dress, wedding had to be delayed 45 mins! Asked for my money back yelled and told me to get out of her shop! Wow!

We took my daughter's prom dress in for alterations. Irina was professional and pleasant. She made my daughter feel comfortable and had some great suggestions as far as appropriate fit and length that hadn't occurred to me. The turn around time was quick. Price was reasonable and the quality of her work is superior. I will not hesitate to use her services for any future alteration needs.

Irina really came through for us. My daughter bought her prom dress at a bridal shop, and they wanted more for the alterations than we paid for the dress! Irina did the alterations for 1/3 the cost and had it done 1 1/2 weeks before the prom. I know she was very busy but still managed to fit us in. I recommend her to anyone and will be taking things to her again!

I heard that this place was a great place to go to, so I decided to try it out. When I called to set up an appointment for my wedding dress, she said, "Is this your wedding? You sound like you're ten years old! A child!!" She laughed for a bit at her own, EXTREMELY rude joke.

My matron of honor called a bit ago to ask what the price range would be for the dress because I didn't want to talk to her again and I forgot to ask. The woman gave an outrageous price range, stopped, and said, "No, I'm not going to do this over the phone," and hung up on my matron of honor! EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Then, when I called in to cancel my appointment, Irina cut me off and started talking in this really high voice that was so condescending and said, "Maam, maam, maam okkaaaaayyyyy it's dooooonnneeee."

All I said was "My name is __ and I would like to cance-." She shouldn't have cut me off like I was saying too much.

I'm extremely surprised with how rude Irina was considering I've heard good reviews in the past.

Irina is the very best tailor in York. I am 5 ft tall. All my pants need tailored. Her work is excellent. I have been a customer for over 3 years. Irina loves to design clothing as well do custom clothing. She is very talented. Jeanie Warner

Irina tailored two suits for me. Before Irina worked on them for me, they were unfashionably shaped, tight where they shouldn't have been and baggy where they ought to have been slender. Now they both fit excellently! Also, her pricing was more than reasonable. I am very pleased with her work.

I couldn't find a suit that fit me for my daughter wedding. The box stores sell standard sizes only and the specialty men's stores were ridiculous. Solution I purchased 100% wool suit separates on sale and had Irina tailor them to fit. My suit looks like the $800 suits in terms of quality and fit but I paid less than $200.00 including the custom tailoring. Thanks Irina you are a treasure and so easy to do business with. Dave M

Irina's work is flawless. She has altered several pageant gowns for my daughter and you can never tell alterations were made. It doesn't matter the material or the work that is needed, she is wonderful. Also, she is willing to get jobs done as quickly as possible. We love going to see her!

Irina is the best!!! I have taken many pairs of jeans and pants to shorten, dresses to take in, and she also completely reconstructed a jacket for me, and she did an amazing job. Another plus is that she always keeps the original hem on jeans, and you can't even tell that they were altered. Aside from doing a wonderful job, her prices are extremely reasonable. Irina makes clothing from scratch too. I would highly recommend her!!!

Irina is not only a master seamstress but also a wonderful person to deal with. Her prices are extremely reasonable as well. (my sister paid twice as much for half the work at David's Bridal for her alterations) I have a Maggie Sottero wedding gown that was too long. Along with many layers, it has a trim with hand-sewn appliqus at the bottom which Irina removed and replaced by hand. Her work was impeccable. She also added an elegant bustle and instructed my sister how to fasten the different pieces. I couldn't be happier with her work and would HIGHLY recommend trusting Irina with your treasured garments!
