I called and they came the same day. service rep was couteous and explained what was wrong and the work, but was not "chatty". very efficient and professional. Bruce Gelvin Work Completed 6-16-11 The clothes washer was not finishing the wash cycle. Tom spent a long time carefully diagnosing the problem which turned out to be the timer. Tom maintained my old Sears washer and dryer for over 20 years until the washer tub finally started rusting out. Unfortunately, I did not purchase a service warranty on the new washer. Tom has been doing repairs on my major applicances for years and I believe he is reliable and fair. Tom did not want to charge me in full for the time he spent diagnosing the problem. However, I gave him a supplement because otherwise he would have not been chargiing for the time and work performed. His dedication to quality work is unusually high and that is why I continue to call on him when a major applicance has a problem. Joan Stewart Work Completed Date: April 28, 2011 Dishwasher dumping water out the front onto the floor when filling. Tom came out at scheduled time and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem caused by a worn out fill valve. Tom Did the job quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price. I would recommend him and call him again for repair work any time and every time.

I didnt know that there was any good repair people left in the valley, I found out about Tom though a good friend who uses corbin for over 16 years and she couldnt say enough about his (Corbin) how wonderful he is!!! Anyway so I did but before I checked them out onAngies list .com . Well he was top rated with 2011 highest contractors award giving by Angies list! Well all I can say is very good service,fair prices and when the repair is said and DONE ,, You feel good inside! I'll only use Corbin appliance for now on , he's my guy! p.s. the only thing , give him time to call back, he's always busy, , the 2nd time I put in for sevice I did wait 70 mins...... but belive you/me its worth it!
I have been using Tom's Corbin Appliance for 25 years both for my residence and business. I have found his rates to be reasonable and if Tom can fix something, he will fix it and not try to sell you a whole new appliance. He has been in business for 31 years and HAS a Business License. I have seen it. The other review sounds like a competitor trying to tarnish Tom's good name and reputation. Don't hesitate to use Tom's Corbin Appliance. You will be pleasantly surprised that there ARE good, ethical repair people out there.

I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS ONE STAR, BUT I COULDN'T DO ZERO! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! TOM DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS OR HONOR WARRANTIED WORK. YOU'RE BETTER OFF USING AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEALER FOR YOUR APPLIANCE'S BRAND. HE'S NOT EVEN REASONABLY PRICED! ALSO, HIS BUSINESS LICENSE IS NOT LISTED WITH THE STATE OF CALIF. HE'S A SHAM!
