The girls at L.L. McKee Salon are all very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. I'm always greeted with a smile and by name, which is nice because they've actually taken the time to get to know me. The work they do is excellent. I've never left unhappy. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for an upscale and personable place to go.

Okay, I'm going to start out by saying something nice about LL McKee's Salon...um...shucks, I can't find anything good to say about the salon. Here is a quick run-down of our experience with LL McKee's: Ridiculous prices for shoddy/inexperienced service, constant gossip concerning other stylists, filthy stations and product displays, dusty products, some of THE most terribly inexperienced stylist I have ever met, seems as though 99.9 of the people working there (the afternoon we went) had a totally unacceptable/unprofessional attitude, we received 2 horrid (and I do not use the word lightly) haircuts, this salon boasts high class-ism but is anything but. After moving to this area we began a thorough search for a quality salon...this was one of 4-5 that we felt we'd like to try...DISASTER! Never again! If you value your, hair, your money and your time...stay away from LL McKee's Salon! If you still insist on trying it out, be afraid...be very afraid!

Hmmmm, I wavered between two and three stars. I like the salon, but the quality of work is not what I would expect in a salon such as this. The staff are a bit unprofessional and there is a great deal of chatter about each other, and off color humor and remarks that are inappropriate. I am not a prude, but I have heard some things said in this salon that would make a sailor blush. The owner does not go out of her way to be too friendly and the staff will try to sell you anything whether it is right for your or not. I had them sell me the wrong Bare Essentials make up color twice. They look the part, now they need to practice acting the part. For me, salons are a dime a dozen, and this is only a salon I would go to in pinch.
