According to the American Mental Health Counselors Association, there are several requirements involved with becoming any sort of mental health professional, before you can even begin working in this field. First, clinical experience is required from a accredited university, then a national exam, then you must be licsened by the state before you can even practice. Please as a client or patient, ask to see your "specialists" or "professionals" licenses before giving them your money!

First: There is no such thing as a LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) In Virginia, you are only a CMT ( Certified Massage Therapist) certified through the Board of Nursing in Virginia. Massage has only been regulated since 1992 by the AMTA and the NCBTMB. Second: Massage Therapists are NOT Certified/Licensed for MENTAL HEALTH practice! This is a fraudulent statement. *They do not have a licensed Mental Health Therapist on staff!Third: They have 8 NOT the alleged 52 Products, and the alleged Services(half of which are bogus and space does not permit me to list them here) stand at 23 legitimately offered there by therapist that are actually licensed in the massage forms NOT the 123 that are listed on this and other sights.Forth: If you are looking at getting bodywork here the 'Specialties' should be the proper list, minus the "Stress Management and Biofeedback (see Second statement) Fifth: Get your massage from Richard or Adrienne for DEEPER work, Cara or Pat for SUPER Relaxation!

I have been here several times, mostly with Crystal. She was great, always a smile, and plenty of time for the work. She really made me feel like I had been taken apart and rebuilt. And afterward, I always had a nice conversation, a chocolate for energy, and a cup of water to aid in the ride home. That being said, I was informed that she is "no longer working" for Blue Ridge. I will not be returning. The owner does not make me feel comfortable, and I don't even know if there are any therapists left. DO NOT GO HERE! Find another massage therapist! Hopefully, I will be able to find Crystal working in a place that will appreciate her skills.
