We were huge fans of Pinellis and were so looking forward to this new restaurant taking over its spot. We went on opening night. It's very nicely renovated and it was great to see some of the old waiters. Disappointed that it's not a BYOB anymore. The food was OK. Just OK. Nothing special. With so many great restaurants in the area I just don't see them surviving in such a competitive market.

Four of us ate there last night and I must say we were impressed by the food and the service. My Pork Napoleon and wife's Rabe with Sausage were outstanding. Our waitress was very friendly and not pushy. We would return - what a nice find in West Warwick!
There is a lot to be said about customer service.... no matter how good previous reviews MAY claim this restaurant to be, a restaurant is only as good as its customer service. I made a 6:30 reservation, and was told upon arrival the table was just being set, well at 7:05 I was still waiting in the bar area on top of other people trying to eat (there is absolutely no waiting area for patrons) and the bartender didn't even ask me if he could get me a drink! At 7:10, 3 "regulars" walked in, pushed us aside and sat down at my table! They didn't even stop at the hostess desk and when I inquired if they had a reservation the answer I received was, "no!" When I asked the owner what the reason for a party to be seated before a party that had a reservation was, the response I received was a blank stare! No apology, no offer to be seated right away, NOTHING!!! Finally, the parking is AWFUL!!! There are only 5 spots in the front of the building, and 3 on the side. It appears that the staff has to park their cars behind one and other. If you can not find parking in their "so-called parking lot", you have to park on a NARROW side road and pray your car doesn't get side-swiped by cars entering and exiting the street! Word of mouth is the best form of business and I hope this review causes future customers to think twice and do not waste their time because reservation or not, if you are not a "regular" this restaurant your patronage is not a priority of this establishment!

Ok since no one will go into detail, I will. This is a small dinky little place that I probably have driven by 100 times and never noticed. One night a friend brought a few of us in and it was some really really great food! The atmosphere is homey but bustling. Don't expect to see the "who's who" here but a good crowd. The bread is fresh and piping hot, and my favorite dish, the Eggplant parm was the best I ever had and I GET IT EVERY TIME I GO TO AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT which is quite often. Check it out and if you are loneing it, there is a little bar that sits about 6 people tops. Enjoy- (and get the chocolate peanut-butter desert).
