I went in 2 other stores before Syr Gold. I told the person at the first store Ive never done this and wasnt sure if I wanted to sell and he said, "read up on the internet how it works and come back when you want to sell". The person at the second store seemed more concerned with is phone. I was ready to give up and go home. I went to the Syracuse Gold and I told the young man behind the desk what happened previously. He said his name was Mike and if I wanted to have a seat he would explain how the process worked. While he explained everything to me, I never felt pressured. He never asked me if I was there to sell or just gathering information. He took the time to explain the way they seperate the gold, test pieces, and how the payout worked in relation to the price on the markets. He spent 20 minutes explaining everything and politely answering ALL of my questions. I ended up selling what I brought, will gladly recommend this shop to anyone who asks and will be a regular customer!!
I Accidentally went to that dump Awesome Deals in the front of the plaza and not only did they offer me a price that I can't believe the lady behind the counter made with a straight face but I also was tempted to get a tetanus shot after leaving. Syracuse Gold was the exact opposite. Not only was it clean, neat, and well organized, Mike offered me a price that almost caused me to fall out of my seat it was so high. I seriously thought I had misheard him. This is the only place to sell your scrap gold.
Great price paid for my jewelry, honest and upfront. The store was bright, clean, and inviting unlike the flea market looking store at the entrance to the plaza where I first went which was dank, very cluttered and the person behind the counter was very rude when I told him I was going to shop around. I ended up going to Syracuse Gold further in the plaza and brought in some jewelry from an ex that I didnt want. He was far and away the higher price on the bracelet, necklace, and charms that I brought in, but more than that, he took time to explain to me that the engagement ring I was trying to sell might bring a higher price if I tried to sell it to an individual than to a store that has to leave room for a profit. Honesty is a rare thing, especially with all the warnings I was given by friends when I said I was looking to sell my jewelry. I'll surely be recommending Jamie at Syracuse Gold to everyone that'll listen.
It is nice to know that while Syracuse gold and sales can not offer a warranty on a product, they stand by their word. I purchased a newer electronic devise from them and the battery was faulty. I called talked to an associate and was told to bring it back in for a replacement. I returned and the owner had checked the new devise and made sure I would be satisfied with my purchase. I will always check to see if a product is available with this company for I go anywhere else.

I can't say enough about Syracuse Gold and Sales. We found the owner to be friendly, honest and fair. His prices for our gold and silver were more than fair. He made the experience very enjoyable and not a chore. I would recommend them to anyone. BTW, he gave me a very large check which I took to the bank. I walked out of the bank with cash in my hot little fist!!!!
My mother brought a coin my father had left when he passed to one of the self proclaimed "reputable" dealers that advertises heavily and she asked him what he could tell her about it. She made the mistake of telling him she didnt know anything about it and was told that the coin was worth, "face value" but offered her $30 for it. She said she'd think about it and he immediately offered her $200, suspicious she said no. My husband saw Syracuse Golds commercial Sat. during the Yankees-Red Sox game and suggested my mother try there, figuring a place has to be legitimate to advertise during a big game and the expense involved. She stopped Monday the 11th and she told him about the other place, he told her she had a 1oz solid gold coin and offered her $1,300 and my mother almost fell over. My mother gladly accepted the offer and I will tell everyone I know about this business. Its nice to know there's some honest people with integrity left to do business with.

Shopped around at a few different places and not only was his very first offer $30 higher than the next highest price but when I told him I drove 35 minutes to get there he paid me an extra $20 "for all the gas you used". That was great considering I had to pull teeth to get the offer that he originally beat by $30. PS, when I called and told him I had been shopping around and was in Liverpool he offered to drive from his store on South Salina St and meet me at his store that is currently under construction in K-Mart Plaza in Mattydale, saving me from a lot more driving. Next time I will save myself a LOT of time by coming here first and last.

the bigger guy with tattoos and a nice tan was very nice .
Called on a Sunday just to see if they were open. The owner told me just by appointment. I told him I was going out of town on Monday. He graciously said he would meet me just to accommodate me. Now that's what I call a great business man. Very nice and great exchange price. I wouldn't go anywhere else to sell your gold. Thank you for the superb business

Went to 3 different store and the very first offer I got here was nearly twice as high as the next highest offer I had gotten at the other places. Very nice and courteous. Highly recommended!
