Established in 1977, Mullan Road Elementary serves students in kindergarten through grade six. The school features a computer laboratory, media center, cafeteria, gymnasium and more than 25 classrooms. It operates a parent-teacher group that sponsors several fundraising events for the development of school. The school offers a range of special education programs for students with developmental disabilities. Mullan Road Elementary s academic curriculum includes art, music, math, reading, and health and physical education. The school provides a variety of health, food and transportation services. Mullan Road Elementary offers an accelerated reading program. The school is governed by Spokane Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools that include Ferris High School and Rogers High School in the state of Washington.
