Located in Spokane, Wash., Joel E. Ferris High School is governed by Spokane Public Schools. It teaches a variety of subjects, such as applied technology, social studies, science, mathematics, language arts, and business and marketing education. In addition, it conducts classes in art, music, horticulture, English as a Second Language, and fitness and health education. The school has a staff of more than 150 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes student assistance specialists, bookkeepers, guidance counselors, intervention transition specialists, math and literacy coaches, bilingual specialists, Spanish and French instructors, and art and music professionals. Joel E. Ferris High School provides academic classes to students in grades 9 through 12.
