I have been going to Dr. Jones for years....he was very reasonable....all my family and friends go to him...because he is a good vet and doesn't try to rip you off...but recently in the past several months...some one else has taken over and now the prices are just as bad as all the other veterinary clinic's around...not sure what I am going to do now...as I have 4 dogs and a cat....if anyone knows of another reasonable vet nearby...please let me know...Thanks

We have been going to Dr Jones for over 10 years now. My mother in law has been using him for over 20 years. He has saved our cats lives, that another vet said put him to sleep he is just a stray. He has performed surgeries, helped us out with a litter of pups dropped at our home. He has also been honest and upfront when it was time to let a dear friend pass. His walk in hours are convenient and his staff are awesome. Cant say enough good about him.

Highly recommended. He has saved my dogs from snake bites, set broken legs, done surgery to remove kidney stones, and compassionately done what needed to be done when nothing else could be done. His staff is priceless, and most of them have been there with him for years. He's a professional, not a business, and most of his staff has been with him for years. I love Dr. Jones and his staff!!

We have taken all our animals to Dr. Jones for as long as I can remember. The staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, especially Phyllis and Debbie. Dr. Jones has always been there for our animals, no matter what time of the day (or night). When he received a call from us at his home at 2am when our chihuahua was having seizures, he didn't even think twice before telling us to rush her to his office and he would meet us there. He saved her life. He has also had to put down several of our old cats (Biscuit was 25 years old, and had a really bad infection on her face, and Mr. Whiskers was 14 and had a large tumor on his face)

Ive been going to Dr. Jones for over 20 years and there are not enough accolades to describe his work, his knowledge and his practice. He was always extremely reasonable with his prices as well! However, since the new vets took over his business the atmosphere has changed. They now charge to just walk in the door. Dr. Jones only charged for his services performed. The new place is a little stiff, the staff isn't as cohesive and the prices have gone the route with all the other vet clinics, high. I really do like Dr. Mead, but I have a problem with being charged to walk through the door and wait up to an hour to be seen. Maybe they should consider appointments, and keep them on time, if they are going to charge an office fee. At least the efficiency would help offset the costs.

Love this vet, much much cheaper than other vets. Got a quote to remove a cyst on my cat of $1200 from the vet on Ironbridge Road across from Walmart, I immediately went to Academy Vet for a 2nd opinion, They removed the cyst for $150.00, I was amazed at how much cheaper they were and will never go to another vet.
