Founded in 1963, Guckenheimer is a privately owned provider of in-house catering for corporations throughout the United States. The company serves more than 2 million customers each day. To ensure the proper handling of food, Guckenheimer has developed a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point program, modeled after the accepted National Restaurant Association SERVSAFE Food Safety System. The company was awarded the Emerging Growth Company of the Year 2001 by the Association for Corporate Growth. It employs more than 4,500 people. Guckenheimer is headquartered in Redwood Shores, Calif., and operates regional offices in Redwood City and Cerritos, Calif.; Tigard, Ore.; Dallas, Texas; Rolling Meadows, Ill.; and Stoneham, Mass.
