The organization develops various research-based school designs and curricula, achievement management solutions, and professional development and extended-learning programs. Edison Schools offers services to more than 285,000 students in over 15 states, the District of Columbia and the United Kingdom. With a location in Rock Island, Ill., it supports Edison Alliance, which is a comprehensive program for driving student achievement in underperforming schools.
