Well run? How does that last reviewer know how a restaurant operates? Anyway, Good food. Way overpriced. Especially for the area. The only high end place in town, (now that terrible overpriced Greenbush Tav burned down) but kind of like a joint you would only visit on special occasions, not an every week or month kind of thing. Plus, for $15, throw the customers a good homemade soup or side, not commercial slaw and dinky salad nubbins. And maybe try a bread plate or run some more specials. Other than that, even retired family/friends or people with a little money don't eat here often. Just too overpriced for the overall portion/food quality. This isn't Rochester Hills or Grosse Point, so if Tait wants to go semi-high end dining he need to upgrade his sides and offer a more overall diverse menu and more specials.

definitely the most well run restaurant in oscoda and the surrounding areas. the food is above average for this area to be sure. prices are a bit higher than most establishments in town but there are bargains to be found on the menu on any given day. relaxed atmosphere and attentive wait staff. the star ranking i gave them is based on all of the places i have eaten including restaurants in new york, san francisco, and chicago. if i had to rate it against what's available in oscoda it gets 5 stars.
