Established in 1978, Southeastern Cooperative Educational Programs is a public body that provides various educational programs for students. The organization offers the Raising Expectations and Abilities for Children with Complex Health needs program, which offers learning opportunities for students with complex medical needs. Southeastern Cooperative Educational Programs also operates the Tidewater Regional Alternative Education Program, which provides academic instruction to at-risk children and focuses on social studies, English, mathematics and science.
