Dr. Koppel is a board certified pain management specialist with 20+ years of experience in the management of various types of acute and chronic conditions. Each patient receives a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan. Most spinal conditions can be treated with these modern and state of the art techniques. Regenerative medicine is a rapidly growing field which utilizes the bodies own regenerative capacity to help heal injured tissue, and reverse degeneration. This involves utilizing various cells, and growth factors to enable the body to produce healthy tissue to replace or regenerate injured tissue. These include Stem Cells and Platelet Rich Plasma, among others. I have seen in my years of practice that most patients with neck or back pain do not receive the right treatment. If the condition does not respond to conservative treatment such as physical therapy within two to three months, then it is unlikely to result in a long term benefit. However my treatments combined with a therapy program can result in a more permanent solution, and avoid the need for surgery. My goal is to utilize minimally interventional techniques to diagnose the cause of the pain, and then treat it. I have treated patients who might have otherwise undergone surgery with its much greater risks and complications. Board Certified Pain Management Specialist. Twenty years of experience in the treatment of neck, and back and joint pain. Utilizing the most update and state of the art treatment. Treatments are performed in modern outpatient surgical centers. Conditions are diagnose utilizing minimally invasive techniques. All treatments are performed under light anesthetic sedation. Treatments are relatively quick, and patients are kept comfortable throughout. Most patients can resume their normal activities the following day.

Very good experience excellent doctor I recommend it.
I was in a car accident and went through all the therapy but still had major back pain. Dr. Koppel was recommended. I was very skeptical. Almost didn’t go. But he looked at the MRI, told me in 2/3 visits I’d feel better and I did! Two shots in separate places, a couple of weeks apart and it was better. The staff are also ver friendly and kind. Only issue, when you go for the shots the wait time can be frustrating so prepare your mind.

I was very hesitant about undergoing injection treatment with Dr Koppel, but now I have almost no pain. He made me very comfortable with the entire process.

I was referred to Dr Koppel in January after a car accident. My pain was really bad, affecting my work, and sleep. It didn't improve at all with months of therapy. I had two treatments in my neck and now my pain is almost gone. I went to Trinitas hospital. They have a really nice out patient center they built. You don't even feel like your in a hospital. After two treatments I am 80 percent better. He really gave me back my quality of life!
