Based in Mount Pleasant, S.C., Wando High School operates under the Charleston County School District. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 2,400 students every year. Wando High School provides classes in various subjects, including fine arts, business and technology, language arts, mathematics, English, science and social studies. The school also offers various services and facilities, such as a fully stocked library, guidance and counseling service, athletics, and food and transportation services. It conducts a variety of sporting events and provides several teaching and learning resources. Wando High School has a parent-teacher association that supports several school events and activities. Charleston County School District also operates other schools, including Burke High School, James Island High School and Lincoln High School.
