Mendota Community Consolidated School District 289 governs several elementary and middle schools and serves more than 1,300 students annually in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It provides educational opportunities for students in LaSalle, Bureau and Lee counties in north-central Illinois. The district employs over 175 people. Its schools curricula include language arts, science, math, social studies and physical education. In addition, the district s schools offer classes in music and technology applications.
