In 1960, a group of Whidbey Island business people saw a need for a locally owned, independent bank that would serve the people of the community. That was the beginning of Whidbey Island Bank. The bank now has more than18 branches, with over 250 employees, serving more than 20,000 individuals, families and businesses on Whidbey Island, Camano Island, Skagit, Whatcom and Snohomish Counties. Whidbey provides a full range of personal and business banking services, and to this day, continues to give every customer the best service it possibly can.
