I had the good fortune of being hospitalized at Desert Canyon in late winter 2012, and then after surgery approx 9 months later. After reading the other 2 reviews, I can't believe we're talking about the same facility ! Something has obviously changed for the better ! The staff was very caring and professional, and I would not hesitate to return after my next surgery, God willing. I consider myself very blessed to have been in their hands. They deserve to be congratulated on doing a fine job, and working as a team. I commend them, and I am a retired RN who worked over 35 years in acute facilities.

11/5/11 - This facility says one thing and does another thing. My brother died wrongfullyy in the care of their unskilled nurses, and medical staff. The truth has been documentated and this facility received several citations based on my complaints which were substantiated by the Nevada Dept of Health and Human Services - Bureau of Health Care Quality and Compliance. ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE - NEVER SEND THEM THERE.- THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU ONLY YOUR MONEY. May God Forgive them, for I never will.

This is a very uncaring rehabilitation center. They only want your money!!! The doctors who come to this facility only care about the money they are making for seeing the patients. They breeze in and breeze out without listening to their patients. The management and staff do not care about their patient's well being. This is the worst rehab in town!!!!!!
