The Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center offers a range of temporary and emergency care services for alleged and adjudicated dependent and delinquent juveniles. The center provides a variety of support services for children and families. It also provides opportunities for various educational, religious and recreational activities. The Youth Intervention Center is a member of the Juvenile Detention Centers Association of Pennsylvania (JDCAP) and the National Juvenile Detention Association (NJDA). The center offers Anger Control, case management and mental health care services. It also conducts dance and music therapy sessions. The Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center is operated by the government of the County of Lancaster in Pennsylvania.
