Dr. David Winand was also awarded the Dr. J Robert Troyer Award for Excellence in Anatomy by the Temple University and the Dr. Herman Brown Award for Excellence in the Study of the Art and Science of Surgery also by the Temple University.

I'm so glad I chose treatment at AVLC with Dr. Winand. The staff is very friendly and professional & Dr. Winand has an excellent bedside manner. I never felt rushed during an appointment & always left feeling that all my questions had been answered. My legs feel better, and I'm very happy to finally be rid of the bulging varicose veins.

The procedure was not as difficult as expected, nor was the recovery as difficult as expected.
The only suggestion I have is that the patient should be showed how to put the compression stocking/s on.
