This shelter has a very polite and thankful staff.I took in a recue to be spayed.I found all of the dogs to be clean and happy. I came one hour early and staff and volenteers were already there washing down kennels, walking dogs, setting dogs out in the play yard where I watched five happy dogs have the best of time.I stayed to walk dogs while I waited on mine. There were people cleaning and washing the floors and kennels all day. All of the staff knew EVERY DOG by name and the story behind each one there. Very on top of things yet a relaxed happy working facility. It was a pleasure.

This is the cleanest, friendliest shelter I've visited! The staff are always great, animals are friendly, clean, shelter does need more money so they can have enough staff, but they do a great job with what they have. I've never seen anyone from the board, but there were some volunteers every time I go there. I have adopted a shitzu from them, and the she was healthy and she is my baby!! The animals all had beds, toys and were happy, not like some places that the animals look so sad and scared! I think alot of shelters could learn something from this little shelter! How to treat their customers, how to clean....some places smell so bad you can't enjoy your visit!
