Established in 1958, Junction City High School provides education to students in grades nine through 12. It provides various facilities, such as a gymnasium, common area, chemistry laboratory, reading room and lecture hall. It provides various academic departments, such as freshmen success, science and engineering, fine arts and human services, business and information technology. The school is approved by the Kansas State Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as social studies, math, language arts, physical education, foreign languages and science. The school also offers business and technical education. It offers counseling services, including assistance with job opportunities, scholarships and education planning. It also provides various sports activities, such as basketball, football, swimming, cross country, tracking and golf. The school also offers extracurricular activities, including drama, band, debates and dance. It is located in Junction City, Kan.
