Junction City Middle School offers education to more than 800 students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, mathematics, social studies, science, computers and physical education. The school also provides special and gifted education to students. It has a counseling department that offers various services, including group guidance, parent consultation, and academic and career planning. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include band, vocal music, and orchestra and wellness education. It offers various sports activities, including basketball, volleyball, baseball, football and wrestling. The school is affiliated with the Geary County School District and is located in Junction City, Kan.
