General Info

Dr. Adya is board certified in internal medicine and has always built her philosophy of care around her passion for preventative medicine. She believes that prevention is always better than having to provide care after the fact. She brings to Healthcare Associates of Texas a wide range of experience in various outpatient procedures, complex medical conditions, and geriatrics, among others. Dr. Adya completed her residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and then spent 15 years practicing medicine in Cincinnati where she ran a very successful practice. Eventually Texas beckoned to their family – both the weather and the economy – which brought her to Healthcare Associates of Texas. Happily married with two daughters, Dr. Adya and her family love to vacation anywhere and everywhere, and especially love to go hiking. In her free time she enjoys yoga, listening to music, needlework, spending time with her family, and going to the theatre/arts. Dr. Adya speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, and English fluently.

Excellent! She’s a great listener & meticulous Dr

I’m so comforted to Have made her my PCP! She’s very professional, meticulous and kind. I felt like she’d known me for a long time and made me feel at home. Her staff is awesome and work with a wonderful dr. They have themselves told me how great she is and I found this out personally.
