At our Huntsville, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

The is the worst Captain D's in Huntsville well at night for sure I get off at 9pm I been here twice after work and the service is horrible and food is awful but last night me and my husband went made it there about 9:10pm Sat in driveway for almost 20 min waiting on our food so we assumed it would be fresh got all the way home and found out the fish was raw on the inside so I'm furious called up there spoke with a manager she said they close at 10 but she will stay so we can bring it back and redo our order once we made it there we just asked for a refund cause the bite of raw fish had made my stomach hurt the manager had the attitude like she could care less so be careful when eating there at night I will never go again
