Georgeana is an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has gained strong medical aesthetic skills based on an understanding of her clients unique cultural and cosmetic needs combined with a professional commitment to safety and aesthetic medicine. In addition to specialty training in Family Medicine, Georgeana has trained at the Esthetic Skin Institute for Physicians and Nurses in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and is a member of the AMEN (Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses). In her practice, she is experienced with a vast range of products, from applications such as Botox/Dysport and dermal fillers like Juvederm/Restylene/Radiesse, to leading edge products and procedures such as Sculptra, scherotherapy, and laser skin rejuvenation. She has over 20 years of experience in the medical industry, ranging from maternity nursing to home care. She has also been a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for over 3 years, providing primary care to pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and womans health. Georgeana is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is fluent in Portuguese/ English and conversational Spanish. She has earned her Masters Degree in nursing from Regis College, Weston, MA. She is thrilled to dedicate her multicultural knowledge and artistic skills to assist people improve their self-esteem and overall wellbeing by helping them achieve their individual aesthetic goal.

Georgianna was so pleasant, calming and helpful. Was very hesitant to have my lip lines taken care of as I always had full lips. Just recently started noticing wrinkles on the upper lip. She did very minimal Juvederm injections to lift them a bit. Minimal pain and amazing results. She used what was left to clear up some lower sides of bottom lip in the chin area/marionette line area. So happy with results. Highly recommend Rio Medical Spa and Georgianna!

Georgina is a highly educated and qualified as a Nurse Practitioner. Because of her nursing background, she is able to combine her caring nursing abilities with her extensive knowledge of medical aesthetics. Her office space is friendly and comfortable and her staff is super enthusiastic. As an advanced practice nurse myself, I can recommend this practice without reservation and with the highest regard.
