Dr. Alicia Delgado, known as Dr. D, is a native of Southern California, and is extremely happy to be providing care to Houston , Texas. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors at the prestigious Universidad Tecnológica de Mexico in Mexico City. She realized very early on in her dental career that she had a passion to work with children. After graduating in 2004 she pursued advanced specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama, Sparks Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders providing dental care for special needs children and the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. She is trained in all aspects of pediatric dentistry including conscious sedation, pediatric dental trauma, hospital dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and treating patients with special medical needs. She has also enjoyed her involvement with Special Olympics International and Special Smiles Program. Dr. Delgado is dedicated to treating your child’s oral health needs in a fun and comfortable setting, while promoting proper habits and a positive attitude for your child now and in the future.

Dr. Delgado made certain to introduce herself to us, especially to our son who was having the procedure. She explained everything that was going to happen and then made certain we were comfortable. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Delgado!
I initially found out about KidsTown from the NY article and I was expecting to work with Dr. Amy so I was a little concerned about Dr. Delgado but after speaking with her extensively about my sons procedure her energy was so relaxing it helped us during this process. She is amazing!! I just had my tongue tie released and I already feel so much better. I am incredibly impressed with Dr Delgado and her staff; my daughter also had her tongue tie released by Dr Delgado and is doing beautifully.

Dr. Delgado was absolutely fantastic with my son. She was very thorough, and great at explaining what dental work needed to happen. She and her staff are very sweet, and within the first visit I was super comfortable with the choice I made to come to Kidstown Dental. It is a great office. She is very kid friendly, and makes sure to listen to all your concerns before you leave. I highly recommend Dr. Delgado and Kidstown Dental!
