Growing up, I experienced gastrointestinal problems first hand. Understanding the interactions between the different aspects of these diseases sparked my curiosity in the field of gastroenterology. What I enjoy most about gastroenterology is the balance between decision-making and therapeutic intervention. Gastrointestinal problems are often chronic and require a long-term treatment plan. My philosophy of care is to give the patient a voice in creating a treatment plan that will be most beneficial to them. By giving patients a voice, we can establish a long-term relationship with the patient while developing a personalized treatment strategy. I believe in creating an authentic rapport with my patients. By giving them the individual attention they deserve, I am able to gather further information to enhance my treatment options and help educate them about their illnesses. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching moviesand playing football.
