Dr. Dean Hart, OD., M.A., B.S.,A.A.S., F.A.A.O. is the founder of Woodbury Optical and has been treating patients for more than 20 years. He is an optometrist, teacher, clinician, scientist and author to all eyecare professions: opticianry, optometry and ophthalmology. He is also an internationally respected lecturer in the field of contact lenses, whose work has been published globally. He is currently the head of the Low Vision clinic at a leading NY teaching hospital. Dr. Hart is available for appointments along with several other optometrists..

Free adjustments and cleaning of glasses during business hours We have doctors available 6 days a week, including evening and weekend hours for your convenience. Most days we have two doctors; one an independent ophthalmologist and an optometrist. Dr. Sajid Malik is our Board Certified Ophthalmologist. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Surgeons. He treates cataracts, diabetes of the eye and many other harmful disorders using state of the art lasers, diagnostic and medical equipment. Dr. Malik does the latest techniques in no stitch, small incision cataract surgery. He has done thousands of cataract surgeries over the last 20 years and has helped restore vision to many more.
