With over fifteen years of experience in the medical field, Jonathan Thompson, MD, has made it his mission to give each patient the quality of life they deserve. “People deserve to live a life free of chronic pain, and that is what I intend to provide them at Cypress Pointe Pain Management,” Dr. Thompson explains. “I see patients for personal injury, workers comp, Neck and back pain, Herniated discs, spinal fractures, pain pumps, epidural injections, and so much more. I want them leaving my office knowing that they can live a pain free life.” Dr. Thompson is trained in the most advanced technologies and treatments for acute and chronic pain conditions. He is Double Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Spine and Pain Management. He is highly trained in Interventional Spine procedures and Micro-Invasive Surgery for pain such as Neurostimulation, Intrathecal Drug Delivery and Radiofrequency therapies. He employs a multi-disciplinary approach to each patient to achieve the best physical function and quality of life. He takes pride in the time and accessibility he provides in caring for his patients. A native of Louisiana and trained at LSU in New Orleans, Dr. Thompson’s Residency was in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a 1 year ACGME-accredited Spine fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine. He now resides in Mandeville with his wife and three daughters.
