I lived here for twelve years from 2000 to 2012. The apartment complex gradually went downhill along with the community around it. Things like lighting in stairwells was no longer taken care of. The place always noisy. It's near a train intersection and horns blare night and day. The walls and ceilings are thin. What finally prompted me to move is that I had people below me playing a very loud TV. My complaints to the property manager were not taken seriously. Actually the useless property manager wanted to call the police on ME, for complaining! I even went to the owner's office in Illinois, they wouldn't do anything. I paid two months to break the lease and moved out. I should have sues them. It's going downhill, becoming a slum and the lousy mangement will not help you. Stay away.
