In short, this "tailor" refused to fix the jacket that he ruined, demanded full payment despite my calmly explaining that I was dissatisfied and was extremely rude to me. He never returned my two voicemails asking when I could pick up my suit, when he knew that I was flying home the next day. He behaved this way, with his back to me and speaking in a rude tone, despite my civility and the fact that my family has been coming here for 15 years!!! Spend your dollars at a talented, courteous and hardworking tailor. Because, in my experience, this is not that type of business.

On 10/18/08, I brought a two piece suit to Delmar Custom Tailors to be fixed and altered.On arriving the following Saturday, the tailor showed me the fix he had done to the jacket. He and I agreed the fix was not very good. He suggested he could send the jacket to NYC where the jacket could be rewoven and it would look ?as good as new?. I told him I paid $600 for the suit and would be worth sending the suit to NYC. Between 11/8/08 and 1/16/09, I stopped at the tailors several times. Every time he gave me a different excuse why the suit was not there. On 1/17/09, I stopped with my son. He stated this time, 3 months later, that he gave my $600 suit to the Salvation Army. On 1/21/09 I filed a small claims action against the tailor. On 2/6/09, I received a letter stating "he found my suit." On 2/9/09 I stopped to pick up my suit. He never repaired the jacket because he never sent the suit to NYC. After 3 1/2 months of excuses, it took a small claims action to "help him find my suit."

A NIGHTMARE! I DROPPED OFF MY SUIT FOR ALTERATIONS AND CLEANING. I TOLD THEM I NEEDED IT BEFORE A WEDDING ON SATURDAY. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE IT DONE THURSDAY, AS THEY WERE OUT OF TOWN FRIDAY & SATURDAY. I RECEIVED A CALL WEDNESDAY NIGHT @ 9:15PM FROM THE "TAILOR" - HE SAID HE FORGOT HOW MUCH TO ALTER MY PANTS, AS HE MADE NO MARKINGS OR NOTES. THEN ON THURSDAY I GO TO GET MY SUIT AFTER WORK AND THEY ARE CLOSED TWO HOURS EARLY!! THEY HAVE HELD MY SUIT HOSTAGE ALL WEEKEND, AND I COULD NOT WEAR IT TO THE WEDDING. THIS BUSINESS SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS - DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!!

We had to wait over two weeks for 2 pairs of pants to be shortened. They said it would only take a week and they will call when they come in. We never received a call and it is now 2 weeks later so I called them and I was told they never call anyone. He was very rude and kept cutting me off everytime I tried to talk. Then he said he had customers there and couldn't help me! In the mean time he still couldn't find my pants. NEVER AGAIN!!
