Fair Street Elementary School is affiliated with the Gainesville City Schools. It provides a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, mathematics and physical education. Fair Street Elementary School also provides civics, history, economics, geography, language arts and English for speakers of other languages programs. Additionally, the school provides special education, speech, technology, enrichment and creative movement programs. It offers a school council that focuses on school improvement, and is supported by parents and community members. Fair Street Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
