General Info
Dr. Li Jiang is a board-certified rheumatologist and internist who joined Rheumatology Associates Frisco in 2017. She is an active member of American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Jiang received her medical education at Xiangya School of Medicine (formerly known as Hunan Medical University, founded by Yale-China Association), where she was ranked top 1 percent, and was awarded Outstanding University Graduate of Hunan Province. She spent her early post-graduate years in residency training and clinical research in Ophthalmology, and received a Master’s Degree. She subsequently developed a passion for rheumatology, for its all organ-systems involvement and for the long-term relationships built with patients. She completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey, and fellowship training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. During her residency and fellowship training, Dr. Jiang actively took part in clinical research and presented at the American College of Physician Internal Medicine and American College of Rheumatology Annual Meetings. She received additional training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and participated in the RhMSUS (Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification in Rheumatology) course by American College of Rheumatology to assist in the diagnosis and management of arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Jiang is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

I trust her clinical judgement
Dr. Jiang’s greatest strength is that she looks beyond the confines of her specialty. She sees what else is going on besides Rheumatlogy. She explains options clearly and includes me in the decisions. I trust her.
She spend the time we need to understand our conditions.
She took the time to really listen, took an in depth health history and seems to genuinely want to get to the root of my issues.
Dr. Jiang is very knowledgeable. I know she has my best interest at heart. I like her very much. She gets right to the point, but listens to what I have to say.
Has changed my life with her diagnosis and treatment
She is always looking at my care from all angles. Physical exam is always very thorough as is her discussion about my symptoms since my last appointment and specifically during the last week. We are still looking for a targeted treatment plan, so I truly appreciate her attention to detail, especially her !extremely! close monitoring of my lab work - even the trends (bad trends) of values that remain within the lab’s “normal range limits.”

A doctor’s office visit. Nothing remarkable. I did like that she asked me my weight and accepted my response.
She listens carefully to what you have to say and she makes sure you understand how to take your medications before you leave.
She is listens to what you tell her and runs labs to make sure she tells you exactly what is wrong with you. She goes above and beyond to help you with pain.
Dr. Jiange has always been very interested in me and my diagnosis. I like and trust her a lot.
