Farmington High School, established in 1888, is a public secondary school offering education to students in grades nine through 12. It provides education in various subjects, including art, music, foreign languages, the language arts, science, mathematics and social studies. The school also provides physical and special education programs. It offers advanced placement courses in various subjects, such as American and European history, biology, calculus, chemistry, macro and micro economics, English language, government and politics, physics, psychology and statistics. The school also provides career counseling services and a media center with Internet access. It also provides various athletic programs and co-curricular activities. The school is approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and the University of Michigan. The school is located in Farmington, Mich., and also offers the Student Managed Academic Resource Time classes.
