The College of Visual and Performing Arts offers a wide range of degree programs in the field of dance, music, theater and arts. It offers academic degree programs in arts management, art and visual technology, arts administration, jazz studies, multimedia, art education and world music. The college also offers certificate programs in piano pedagogy, and instrumental, vocal and piano performance. It organizes a variety of events and activities, such as jazz, modern dance, ballet, classical music, opera and theater performances. The college also organizes vocal and instrumental ensembles, including jass ensemble, flute choir, brass ensemble, university singers, symphonic chorus and vocal jazz. The College of Visual and Performing Arts is a part of the George Mason University and is located in Fairfax, Va.
