Established in 1960, Valle Vista Convalescent Hospital is operated by Covenant Care, which includes more than 5,000 healthcare professionals in its self-owned care communities and institutional pharmacies. Valle Vista Convalescent Hospital is a nearly 60-bed rehabilitation center that provides short- and long-term residential health care. The organization offers individually designed treatment programs, including long-term functional management; gait, balance and fall recovery; skin and wound care; and aural rehabilitation. It also offers contracture management, a cardiopulmonary and orthopedic rehab program, neuro-muscular rehabilitation, neurological deficit management, and orthotic and prosthetic management. The nursing staff of Valle Vista Convalescent Hospital is licensed by the state of California's Board of Registered Nurses. It is located in Escondido, Calif.
