At the time of purchasing 2 gallons of Valspar paint at Elyria Lowes I was told that there was a $5.00 rebate which i could activate on line. I thanked the sales associate and left. I submitted my claim for the rebate and was denied because i purchased the paint 2 days before the rebate started. That's a un - professional way of doing business when your mis - led. I like the valspar paint and have always used it for the past 10 years instead of other paints and was going to purchase it anyway. But since i was told about the rebate i applied and was informed on line about the transaction date which didn't fall in with the dated rebate. I don't appreciate that and wanted to comment in case others have had it done also. Michael.......
