The School District of Pickens County offers education to students in kindergarten through the 12th grade. Its academic curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The district has an adult learning center that offers English for speakers of other languages and high school diploma programs. It also offers a range of sport activities that include football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, soccer, and track and field. The district has an enrollment of more than 15,000 students and is comprised of over 20 elementary, middle and high schools. Its schools are accredited by the South Carolina Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The School District of Pickens County is located in Easley, S.C.
