The Coronado Fire Services Department works to respond to and extinguish fires so as to minimize the loss of lives, damage to property and economic impact upon the community. It provides emergency medical support and transport system to the residents and visitors of Coronado, Calif. The department strives to prevent fires from occurring and utilizes resources efficiently and effectively to protect life and minimize property damage. The Coronado Fire Services Department additionally provides emergency medical services, including patient transportation, as well as prepares the community, through plans and education for natural disasters. It supports community emergency response team training classes.
