Provided by YPmobileMeh... I sat at the bar which has a kind of v shape which meant I was half turned away from everybody else.
My steak was more expensive than the Kobe beef steak at The Cellar and wasn't that great. It was big; but so what? I didn't finish it. Who needs that much beef?
I didn't have wine... I don't really know wine well enough to rate the selection anyway. I will say Hand and Foot was able to engage my interest in drink selections and got me to try a few things I hadn't before.
Maybe it was an off night; but I did not feel the food as art vibe I like when going to a nice place. Especially when expecting French.

Provided by YP.comFound this gem while staying in Corning. We were looking for something a little upscale - and we found it. Really nice wine list includes NY wines - menu offers enough variety to satisfy all patrons. We started with a locally grown baby greens salad - balsamic vinegrette was one of the best I've had in a while. The very knowledgeable server recommended the scallops - which were delectable. My partner had the hanger steak - another recommendation. Both entrees included interesting gourmet twists as well as presentation.
Portions were spot on - allowing us to try a dessert from a very extensive list. We shared the Chocolate Pate - which should be named to reflect the sinful pleasure it left in our mouths.
Atmosphere is funky elegant - very cozy. The faux finish walls include Victorian mouldings - paintings add artsy touch - done by a local artist - really add interest to the surroundings.
Restaurant was very busy - reservations are highly recommended.
