lots of great clinicians to coose from. i have my favorites. been working on PTSD childhood trauma as of late and already am more hopeful about the future.i kinda finished the "basic" modules, but honestly would not be as happy if not for staying in my weekly group and participating in the monthly "after care" sessions.i was abused as a child. this place has allowed me to deal with all the problems that being abused at a young age causes. without demonizing me or my abusers.if you dont want your children to wind up in therapy when they are 50 years old. be mindful of all adults who have contact with them. most abusers are family members or trusted family friends. i speak from experience.

A STEP FORWARD has provided a safe place for me to work out my ongoing issues related to my childhood abuse and neglect. the PEOPLE in my group have become the supportive family i never had. hard to believe that at 52 years old i am now starting to have successful relationships. many therapists to choose from. sliding scale for the financially challenged. i have been through alot and still have some WORK to do, but i now feel that my life has meaning.
