I am a 55 year old independent business man who has traveled the US and world extensively. My wife and I have been using cab # 1858 for 6 days for all our transportation needs in downtown Chicago, and to and from our convention in Rosemont. The driver has been the nicest, cleanest, most polite and professional driver we have ever had in the USA. He maintains a very clean and SMELL FREE cab. We wish all taxi cabs and drivers were like him.

I was fortunate enough to catch a ride from Union Station to the Daley Center in Chicago last Thursday morning with one of your drivers -- I think his first name is Jelil -- who returned my wallet that I accidently left behind in the back seat. It was rush hour, I was in a hurry and didn't even pay attention to what cab company had given me the ride when I discovered my missing wallet. I was panicked, not even sure how I would get home on the train without money, an ID or ticket. Within two hours, Jelil had tracked down my husband at home, gotten my cell phone number and agreed to meet me outside the Daley Center to return my wallet. Nothing was missing and he was very kind about it all. I can't begin to describe my relief, considering the fears we all have now of identity theft, etc. I was scheduled to leave town over the Memorial Day weekend and would never have been able to leave without my driver's license, etc.

I went to a wedding party last night with my hubby and we had way to much fun.. we forgot our expensive camera in the cab. we were so sad about it 20 minutes ago the cab man is beeping outside my home & shows up with camera in hand. We are so HAPPY!!! that there is still HONEST & GOOD people in this world. THANK YOU SOO MUCH we were so excited about our camera that we didnt get his name or cab #. BUT AGAIN THANK YOU SOO MUCH we GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.. please pass this on to the cab drivers and find out who this guy is because this man is an awesome employee and his picture needs to b up and b the driver of the day he was Haitian I think u guys have a new fans!!!! WE LOVE UR SERVICE

Your driver found my purse in his cab and took the initiative to contact my home, found out what hotel I was in, and brought my purse to me! What a super way to treat a little old lady from Nebraska! I am deeply grateful to your driver and staff!!!!!

I am writing to let you know what a GREAT job Chicago Carriage Cab did in taxiing me from downtown to Orland park today. The Driver was very courteous and professional. We had a nice discussion during the drive which made the trip go quickly and seem easy. I travel to Chicago frequently for work and will not hesitate to use your services - hopefully with a Chicago Carriage Cab Co. driver at the wheel - whenever possible.

Last Wed, my friends and I took one of your cabs to the James Hotel for a meeting after work. I said I would pay for everyone to lessen the confusion. After paying i thought I put my wallet back into my backpack. When we got inside the hotel I went to put the money they gave me to pay for their share into my wallet and discovered it was missing. I had dropped it in the cab when I thought I put it back into my backpack. The hotel doorman told us the name of the cab company and the concierge called your company but I had not remembered the number of the cab correctly. While we were waiting my husband called me on my cell phone to tell me the driver had found my wallet and called him (his business card was in my wallet). I don't know the name of the driver He very nicely brought my wallet back to the hotel!!! I was so thankful as EVERYTHING important is in my wallet. Driver was great! I dropped my phone in the back of the cab I was riding in. Once I realized this , I called the company and they contacted the driver. He came back to my location and dropped off to me. Wonderful service!

They've always been extremely prompt - if I've ordered for a specific time they're usually early, and if I order for immediate pickup it's usually within 10 minutes or so. There's only one time, on a particularly busy weekend, when we had to wait quite a while. The cabbies I've had with this company have been good, and I like that they have the credit card machine plain to see in the cab. Every other cab I've been worried the cabbie will give me a hard time, and in fact once the cabbie did. Luckily, not with this company. I'll continue to use them as much as possible.

Did you know that Chicago Carriage Cab boasts the largest hybrid fleet in the city? 20% (about 200 vehicles) are either Ford Escape or Toyota Prius Hybrids. Also, as each old taxi dies, it is replaced with a new hybrid with the ultimate goal being an all hybrid taxi fleet. CCC still has a long way to go to be completely green, but for the city of Chicago they are the best!

My kid lost something in a cab but didn't even know which cab company she used. I called several places and yours is the only one that returned my call. I like that. I'll dial you up next time I need a cab because I know that if I lose something, I'm more likely to get it back. Cheers

A client of mine left a very important item (a $3,000 dress she was to wear to her wedding rehearsal and dinner) in the back of a Chicago Carriage Cab. After two weeks with no word, we assumed the dress was gone for good. Last night I received a call from one of the managers, Jason. The dress was returned to me this afternoon. I am happy. My client is happy. The cab driver and Jason have some good Karma coming their way! Thanks again.

Great Service, I called for to reserve for the next morning and they were on time. Drivers were great and the great thing that they did not mind paying with my credit card.
Unfortunately, I left my cellphone in the taxi. I noted the problem within seconds of leaving the taxi and called my phine to see if he would pick it up. His response was, how much will I pay for him to return the phone. My response-"you can't be but 3 minutes away!" The driver did not help me with my bags, and was extremely rude within the taxi. He also did not help me with the bags that I had in his trunk (four). I normally tip pretty heavily,but, based on the circumstances, I did not provide a large tip, though a tip was provided. The driver indicated that the amount of the tip was poor,so he would just take the phone to the Lost and Found and I could deal with them. The staff in the Lost and Found was courteous,but, it took several days of unfullfilled promises to get the phone (of which I still do not have). Management syas that they can't do anything about it.
Feedback I sent the company:Twice I've reserved a cab via your online service to travel to Midway Airport. The first time was near the holidays, the cab showed up nearly 30 minutes late and the driver wasn't sure how to get to the airport from my apartment. I found this to be unprofessional, and honestly it created a significant amount of stress regarding my ability to make my flight on time. However, trying to be fair I also realized that it was a busy travel time and was willing to give your service the benefit of the doubt. So, approximately one week ago I reserved another car to travel to the airport. When it had not arrived to pick me up by 10 minutes after my scheduled time, I phoned your service to inquire and was told the car would be another 15 minutes in arriving. This is unacceptable, and again resulted in a very stressful situation as I attempted to reach the airport on time to make my flight.
