The Covenant School is a nondenominational, coeducational, Christian day school that offers a range of education services. Founded in 1985, it enrolls students in prekindergarten through grade 12. It operates lower, middle and upper schools. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, language arts, history, geography, mathematics, science, foreign languages and fine arts. It also offers several physical education and athletic programs. The school provides opportunities for its students to participate in variety of athletic activities, including cross country, football, field hockey, wrestling, volleyball, baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, lacrosse, tennis, and golf. It is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Covenant School is located in Charlottesville, Va.
