Amazing staff! They meet the special needs of my child fairly, as difficult as it is to endure the extra work. They communicate regularly and willing, they respond to each childs needs. Thank you shining stars staff, for all that you do! It takes very special people to do it every day.We use CCR and Gloria was ever so helpful when my fiance deployed over seas. She offered to use our first weeks payment and keep my son so that I could attend interviews, without losing his spot for weeks. What these people do is VERY hard work every day. I pray they do not ever put up with horrible behavior, after first trying to solve issues. It is lack of discipline both at home and schools now, that make jobs far more difficult for the staff. If I were employed here, Id thank management for not making me and other children put up with it.Thank you, for all you do here. It has meant a lot to our family after Ive spent the last two years being very ill. I needed this break and Im delighted that my son has really progressed, in every way. I truly appreciate you ALL.

My family moved to the area 4 months ago and we got started looking for day care for our 18 month old. Shining Star was right down the street from our house so we naturally started there. We were impressed that the facility had locked doors with a key pad for entry, cameras in the rooms to check on our daughter throughout the day, everything was clean and bright and they even have a police officer in the evening to help with traffic on Lancaster Hwy. We loved that the outside play area was appropriate for her age and that they had an indoor gym for extra activities or for when the weather was poor.Since our daughter has been there for 4 months she has been learning so much. The center does a great job to involve parents on the daily details of their childs life. They offered a Thanksgiving lunch for parents at the center, they occasionally provide breakfast to go in the mornings for parents and each day we get a daily activity sheet of what they ate and did during the day. We are also very impressed that everyone that works there is always happy and so nice. Everyone greets you in the morning and makes you feel at home. Overall we are very please with the center and happy that our daughter is in great care. We would recommend this center to anyone.

My son has attended Shining Star Academy for over 2 1/2 years and in those years he has learned so much! Hes learned how to write his name legible, hes learned how to count, Spanish and mostly he learned how to read. I actually posted videos on Facebook with him reading. His Spanish is getting much better because the Spanish teacher really ensure the kids understand what they are saying and she is very patient with the kids. I really love the teachers that he has had over the years because they exude joy and happiness in being with the kids and teaching them all they know and not only teaching them but learning about each childs likes/dislikes and struggles. The teacher and the faculty really get involved with the kids to learn each one individual. Another thing I like about Shining Star is the owner is always involved and you dont find that often at many daycares.

Great daycare center, with clean, fun facilities for kids, qualified and caring staff, and responsive, accessible owners. My children both attend. My son graduated from their kindergarten program and was able to start 1st grade early because of the great education he got. When my daughter was born there was never any doubt shed attend Shining Stars too. Its a great center and a great value.

Shining Stars Academy is an awesome place. Its the best in Charlotte! You can be confident that your children are in a safe, friendly, educational environment. Staff is professional, and personable. Already planning on sending my grand children there!

My daughter has attended for 5 months now and they have been wonderful. I originally toured 4 places, of the 4 two separated out the ages for infants. At this facility, once they are mobile they get transitioned to the next room. Additionally of the 4 I toured they were the cleanest, and I see their commitment to cleanliness on a daily basis. The building is well maintained, the owners are frequently at the day care, and the manager stays on top of everything. The staff is wonderful, and I believe everyone at this day care goes the extra mile with little special touches. (Fresh flowers outside, holiday themes, special gifts for the parents.) I believe they truly care for my child and I see them frequently love on her. I am comfortable when she is there as I know she is safe and well cared for. I am very happy with our decision to choose this day care.

I visited and researched numerous child care centers before choosing to put my daughter anywhere. We chose Shining Stars! She has been attending here for 8 months now and I am very happy with the teachers, the administration and everyone involved at the center. My daughter is thriving and learning so much which makes me feel good... I love there are cameras in the classrooms so I can watch her play. I would strongly recommend Shining Stars!!

I am the extreme definition of a helicopter Mom, which made deciding where to send my 2 year old son for pre-school almost near impossible. That is, until I discovered Shining Stars Academy! The second we started our tour there, my husband and I knew THIS was the place we would send him. Everyone there is absolutely amazing and the classrooms and playgrounds are equally amazing too. In just a few short months, we saw such a huge difference in our son, so we definitely know that he is being taught well. We love their daily app and webcam, not to mention all of the extra activities that they offer and all of the parties they throw for their students. We also love that the school is bilingual. We feel that our son is a 100% safe environment. Parents, trust me on this, if you are looking for the perfect pre-school, look no further than Shining Stars Academy!

My daughter has been attending Shining Stars Academy for about 5 months now and she LOVES it!! The staff at Shining Stars are very friendly and personable! I was nervous to put her in daycare at first but the infant room teachers are amazing and have been very welcoming since day 1... especially when I visit during the day.

I could not LOVE the school more. I have entrusted them with my both my babies for over 2 years now. Every single day we are greeted with happy faces and an environment that is built for success. I have watched my children grow in a way that impress everyone they meet. I toured a few other local schools and nothing compared. Nothing. From having an on site kitchen providing healthy and nourishing meals all day long, to bilingual learning this school has it all. I recommend it to anyone who asks. Thank you Shining Stars for providing an environment to my children that I know, I could never provide myself.

Shining Stars is awesome. I feel very safe and secure with my daughter being here. She has been here since 6 months and I plan on keeping her here until she is ready for Kindergarten. The teachers asked if they can text me to send me updates/pictures of my daughter during the day. I also love the fact that my toddler is being taught Spanish, English, and sign language. Every time I have a question or a concern, it is addressed right away. I would definitely recommend this daycare to anyone!

I'm a teacher for SC and my wife and I were concerned when my daughter outgrew her previous daycare and we were told she was too young to enter public kindergarten. We enrolled her in Shining Stars', NC accredited, 5 star Kindergarten program. Not only did she make instant friends, their curriculum easily excelled her past her older friends in public school. This year, we made the decision to keep her at Shining Stars for 1st grade and within the first quarter she was writing in cursive, loving math, learning more Spanish and thrilled to read books to the whole family. The owner and staff go out of their way to ensure everyone is welcome, happy, and feels a part of their Shining Stars' family.

I highly recommend this preschool. I transferred my daughter to this school when she turned 3. The teachers are well qualified, nuturing, and knowledgable, and the directors and owners are always available. I've researched many schools for my daughter and this was by far the best! The school menu is awesome, lots of space for the kids, and there is even a gym for rainy days.
