Dr. Milo F. Vassallo is an Allergist/Immunologist who earned his medical and doctoral degrees from the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Vassallo completed his Internship and Residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University, followed by a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology (also at Massachusetts General Hospital). He has extensive experience diagnosing and managing allergic and immune system disorders, and has published multiple academic papers in peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology as well as the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Vassallo is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology.Dr. Vassallo stresses the importance of identifying what factors in the environment trigger and worsen allergy symptoms with a goal of using this information to help reduce symptoms and minimize the use of medications if possible. From the moment I set foot in, I was greeted by the friendly receptionists at the desk and was seen on time for my appointment—a rare occurrence with most doctor visits! Kevin, the nurse who administered my first-ever skin prick allergy testing, was incredibly kind and compassionate while he explained the process. Once I met with Dr. Vassallo, I was surprised at how empathetic and engaged he was in listening to my symptoms. Not only did he provide comprehensive explanations of my allergies, he provided solutions that I could proactively begin once I left the office. Checking out was quick and simple with the friendly receptionists; overall, I am very happy to have seen Dr. Vassallo and his team—you guys have set the bar for me!

Dr. Vassallo was absolutely wonderful today! He was thorough with my visit and took his time to explain to me all that was going on with my allergies. I was recommended to try his office by another patient of his who is a friend of mine, and I am so glad I decided to try him out. I transferred from a different allergist where I had a unpleasant experience for many months and in a way this was my last hope to try and get my allergies under control. To put it lightly, this was a breath of fresh air. From the minute I walked in, the office staff was friendly and worried about my confidentiality and brought me in the back to check me in as a first time patient. I also especially appreciated how while I was undergoing the super uncomfortable allergy skin test, Dr Vasallo distracted me by going over my chart instead of making me wait in agony. He had great bedside manner and was very professional. I look forward to finally kicking these allergies with a doctor that I can seem to trust.
I had chronic ENT infections due to severe allergies for years and years before my PCP suggested it could be allergies. Dr. Vassallo turned that all around with a spot-on diagnosis and the right brew for my allergy shots. Now I can't even remember the last time I had an ENT infection. I just wish I'd found him sooner!!
