Franklin Smith Elementary School is a part of the Blue Springs R-IV School District, which operates more than 20 schools with a combined enrollment of over 12,500 students. The school provides academic programs to nearly 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Franklin Smith Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher association that works with students, families, schools and businesses to expand educational opportunities for students. The school conducts classes in a range of subjects that includes computer technology, language arts, special education, English, math, science and social studies. Franklin Smith Elementary School organizes a variety of cocurricular activities and is located in Blue Springs, Mo.
