The Rainbow Center for Communicative Disorders is a nonprofit organization that provides support and assistance to children and adults with developmental disabilities. It provides services to more than 60 adult clients with communication and behavioral disorders, cerebral palsy, autism and learning disabilities. The center s academic curriculum includes discreet trial training, sensory programming, motor and language therapies, social skills programming and functional curriculum. It emphasizes on daily living skills, community integration, health and fitness, hobbies and volunteerism and creative expressions. In addition, the center provides school and respite care and summer programs. The Rainbow Center for Communicative Disorders, established in 1976, is located in Blue Springs, Mo.
